I appreciate easy crafts and books that give the directions so simply. My cousin is one of the “designers” and I always appreciate her work. I also like all the color in this fun book!

40 pages of wonderful, inexpensive ideas on how to decorate your home with a country flair. FARMHOUSE STYLE begins with several ideas on how to make a door decoration from flowers. Then there are a couple ideas on how to make plaques to dress up your walls.
The book goes on with how-to’s on making vases using broken china, ways to cover albums and jar tags and even an apple pie and Raspberry Sun Tea and several more recipes listed throughout the book. It tells you uses for jelly jars or old embroidery pieces. You could make a birdhouse using a pre-constructed one purchases at a craft store or make one from scratch starting with a soda bottle case. Paint a terra cotta pot and give it some glamour. There is even a Prairie Point pillow.
There are lots of photos showing the finished items. The instructions for projects or recipes are written clearly and many are made from things you have around your house.
There is a section on how to do the embroidery used and photos of the embroidery stitch is shown. Any templates needed are included. These items will decorate your home or make very nice hand-made gifts for family and friends.
